    Morzine area

Seeing as my Thonon request returned a big fat zilch, I thought I'd try again for the area around Morzine. My family and I will be traveling up for the day some time towards the end of this week or next. Ideally I would just like to find a few species I wouldn't see in the UK, preferably by...

    Advice for Birding trip August

Hi guys, apologies for hijacking the thread, but... Florian, I posted a request for more general information on the area around Thonon and Evian, over in the France area forum. Not sure whether you are familiar with this area, but if you have time to reply to my post I'd much appreciate it.

Thonon & Evian area French Alps

My family and I will be spending the first couple of weeks of August in this area and I was hoping someone might be able to give me some birding tips. I know it's not a great time of year for birding but a chance to get a few things I wouldn't in the U.K. would be great. We're camping next to...

    The Twitch

First up let me admit to being a good friend of Kev's. Being a good friend of his I know that he's not the best of self publicists, which can be evidenced by the fact that this book was originally up for crowd funding at least a year ago! Being a friend of Kev's I was looking forward to the...

How about Bushy Park? A lot of land to go at with a variety of habitat. London Birders' site often has a list of recent sightings if you're interested in species. Easy to get to from Hampton Wick or Teddington stations.

    Urban/Suburban Garden bird list (UK)

Hi all Thought it might be interesting to get and idea on what sort of birds people are seeing in their back gardens in these sorts of areas. What I'm proposing is that if you have a garden which fits the bill, you post a list of birds seen in the garden. These should be birds perched in the...
