Urban/Suburban Garden bird list (UK) (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Thought it might be interesting to get and idea on what sort of birds people are seeing in their back gardens in these sorts of areas.

What I'm proposing is that if you have a garden which fits the bill, you post a list of birds seen in the garden. These should be birds perched in the garden, not in ajoining gardens, fields, parks or nature reserves!

Following that list an extra list can be added of birds seen from the garden, which can include any seen flying overhead or in any of the places listed above. This list should not include duplicates from the "In Garden" list.

It would be nice to include location. This should be City/town and area. Nearby features such as parks and woodland would help give a picture of local habitat.

Anyway I'll kick things off in the next post.

Cheers in advance
Martin

PS. To stop this thread getting too long new species should be added to your first post rather than in new ones.
