If they're still out there somewhere but not making frequent appearances then they've become a rare and you're lucky to have clocked one. If they're actually extinct ( as a member or in RL ) then you'd have to get them reaccepted to tick them. :-)

I think if you can get an armchair tick from a subsequent species split you must surely be able to take one from a subsequent BF membership. Encouraging people to join just so that you can armchair tick them is of course very bad form and would not enhance your reputation as a serious lister. :-)

Gutted that you didn't point out the back of Steve West's head to me too, Edward. We also pored over his site guide before our Northern Spain visit and got some useful advice from him on here as well. Maybe next year.

Since this was from March 2008, I may have had a few others since then but the only ones I can remember offhand are: 53. Mollyhawk, I think (Stuart's friend) And then yesterday: 54. RedEyedVideo There must be more - I've been to at least one Scottish meet since then. Help me, Delia? ETA...
