    Island Mere hide is the one I’m thinking of. If I remember correctly, and my aging brain may be wrong, the cafe is not great for a main course, but good for coffee and cake :)

    Do not know about Stone Curlew - but love Minsmere :) Keep a look out for hobbies feeding on the walk between the Bittern hide and the one on the edge of the lake I can never remember the name of!! Also find snakes basking on the sandy soil between the two.

    Sounds great Rich - just booked my annual two weeks at Lydford, Devon at start of August. Followed by 1 week in Berwick-upon-tweed at the end of August :)

    KO 4.45pm - Moseley KO at 3pm and it takes about 15min to walk home -so I should catch most of it!
