    Optically you can easily compare these SE’s to $500 mid-level roof Binoculars. I’d possibly compare the optics to the Vortex vipers and Zeiss Terra’s, maybe even better. I’ll know once I get mine back and I have a chance to compare them to multiple other binoculars.

    Why can’t it? New glass, ED component, newer coatings and cheap China labor with US company QC inspection before release. Sounds to me at this price point could be a winner. It’s a shame MIC.

    I had used the forester MIJ and it was nice glass, but not up to the E2 or SE level. The China one I tried back in July was five minutes in the backyard and back in the box for the trip back to retailer.

    To me they look like the old vixen Foresters , which weren’t to bad when MIJ. The vixens were definitely not on the level of the E2 or SE. I think 10m might be a mistake. I have the APM 6x30 and I think optically for $200 they are as close to the E2 of any binoculars available in that price...
