Spent the day at Tarifa at one of the higher based watch points - Tons of Raptors were seen on the move as to be expected ! Booted Eagles made up the majority with 270 reported on the board...

    Back in England at the sec. Extremely pleased that I managed not to dip on the Stilt Sandpiper at Lodmoor today. Took about 4 hours to finally see it...     Awesome :t: We started at the visitor center and walked to the hides on the left if I remember correctly. Its a truly fantastic reserve in my opinion, Last winter I was watching 2 Spotted eagles that were overwintering there, Beautiful birds. Oh and had not 1 but 3 Little Bitterns last time...

    Had a pretty good weekend birding in the UK and got my brit yr list up to around 95. I also nearly had a heart attack when i was scanning the local Canada geese and turned up a Barnacle goose.... but i found out later it was a feral bird that had been around now and then for three years:C...
