Hi all,

My wife and I will be in Mitu from 7-16 May. Anyone interested in meeting up to share on costs? Logistics for Mitu are a bit tricky as you need to use local "guides" to get access to the various sites. I'll be coordinating all the logistics, but since you need to use local guides, ect, the price is a bit higher than what you'd expect on an independent trip. That being said, it should still be fairly cheap. Mitu is a great place to pick up a number of tricky birds including Guianan Cock-of-the-rock, Chestnut-crested Antbird, Azure-naped Jay, Orinoco Piculet, Tawny-tufted Toucanet, and many more.

There are only flights two days a week to Mitu (Sundays and Tuesday) which is why the dates are 7-16.
