Help transcribe old ornithological diaries! (1 Viewer)

The Ernst Mayr Library of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard is currently scanning and digitizing all of the journals and diaries of famous ornithologist (and co-founder of the American Ornithologists' Union) William Brewster.

These invaluable volumes, which document Brewster's birding trips throughout the U.S. from the 1860s until his death in 1919, will eventually all be available for search through the Biodiversity Heritage Library. But first, we are calling all ornithologists, natural historians, and birders to help us transcribe these fascinating accounts.
