Unlike Zeiss and Swarovski, Leica doesn't seem interested in competing in the second tier market where they could successfully compete since there is room to grow in that segment.
Or they could bring out a second line of bins at the alpha level like Swaro did with the SLC-HD, but I don't see that happening either. Swaro already had two lines of bins, the SLC-HD was an upgrade.
The alpha company to watch is Zeiss. After running that opinion poll about what users would like to see next and discounting their green armor FLs, they may have something new in the works.
2007 mate when the original ultravids came out . and they are about to release a reworking of the trinovids but they look very similar to the ultravids :t:
