Your birds look lovely Dianeh especially like the Cardinal and is that an American Goldfinch peaking out of one of the photies?

Love what the Snow does for Backyard Birding!

Here's some of the birds that came to my yard this weekend.

Dianeh was wondering what kind of equiptment you use for your
photos? From what I can tell it looks like you have cropped some
and they still come out very clear when I open them. Mine went
fuzzy.

Thanks Jim

Thanks Diane - This was the gorge I hiked down to last weekend. As I mentioned - no birds - no feeders full. It was nice to see nature in the frozen state! Click on photos for larger image.

Shar,
Love your chickadee. If all goes well....here are black vulture and juvenile, also 2 shots of my "blonde" housefinch.

Excellent shots, Celeste. I love the black vulture and juvenile. And I see why you say the finch is blond.

Thanks Diane.
Quick question, anyone-Why is there such variation in housefinch color? Is my blonde a mix of goldfinch and housefinch?

Unfortunately no Celeste but could you imagine the possibilities;) . If I am correct, I believe the variation in color is all due to diet.

Tom and Tina

Followed these two around the house for hours - never did see any "action"
These photos were taken with a camera KyBob suggested to me - I took off 3 rolls of 35mm which I haven't developed yet....
