Well, it's not a hybrid, it's a pure Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos). Nearly all domestic ducks are different breeds of Mallards, and thus the same species. As to what breeds are involved in these birds, I've not idea.

Yes, agree, some of the "manky Mallard" types can be quite attractive (or at least interesting). A variety I always enjoy seeing is the "Indian Runner" type which occasionally turns up at public duck ponds here in Reno. Here's a particularly ludicrous looking specimen that I photographed at a local park just a few days ago--

OK, it was an error to call it a Hybrid, thank you Fugl for the link.
So I will call it a Mallard variant ...... my sentiment however still holds true in that I still think it is an unusual and presentable variant of the species.
