hawke fixed eyepiece (1 Viewer)

hi all i have got a hawke nature trek spotting scope and was thinking of buying a fixed eyepiece for it but cant decide which one to get, any suggestions which magnification is the best for bird watching.
cheers andy

I am not sure which fixed powers are available for the Hawke Nature Trek spotter nor what their specifications are. Many of the moderately price and expensive models typically come with a wide angle 30x magnification eyepiece as the apparent general consenus is that 30x is "high enough" for general use in most applications. I don't really see a fault with this personally. I tend to prefer lower magnification than that (20x give or take) in a widefield eyepiece but that is entirely dependent on what I use it for.

Hope this helps.
