I was out birding today near bad Lippspringe in Germany and I spotted my first Hawfinches of the year. This puts me on a record 300 species for this year.
And its not over yetB :)B :)B :)

Cheers Rich,
I've had a few as I went to a rock concert with Wishbone Ash, Barclay James Harvest and Manfed Mann tonight, but you are right, I has been a great year,

And some still have a bit of a sting;)

The age of the average audience is over 60 these days, but as they say rock till you drop.
There is plenty of change here too, not all to my taste, but the rock scene is still pretty good.
