Ornithology Majors and Colleges (1 Viewer)

I am going to a Community College right now and im going to have to transfer somewhere in a few years.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any Ornithology Colleges or and Colleges/Universitys that had majors concerning that field.

In turn im looking within the United States.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Nicole

I don't know if many universities offer ornithology as an entire major (perhaps Cornell?). Typically, one would get a degree in biology, zoology, or wildlife, but work on an undergraduate project with a professor who studies birds. Louisiana State University would be an excellent choice to consider- there are several professors there who study birds, and there is a museum with a large bird collection. If you want to stay closer to home, I'm sure that with a little internet searching you could find some universities in Virginia or surrounding states that offer good biology programs and have at least one faculty member that studies birds.
