I didn't know Lona and it's a very sad way to learn of her wonderful talent. A tragic bicycle accident in early March has robbed us all of a wonderful and inspirational artist. May she rest in peace and her spirit live on in the incredible work she leaves behind:

My God!! that's a great shock...I was only looking at her work last week..a fantastic carver,
I cannot believe, how i never heard about this...got one of her books in my workshop...
in-fact the owl she carved is my screen-saver, I look at this for inspiration...mark.
