Sandwell Valley (3 Viewers)

I've had word that the Spring All-Dayer will be happening on 7th May this year. It would be good to put together a decent number of people to stomp the Valley so who's up for it?

I could speak to the RSPB to see if we can keep the centre open late that evening to collate sightings and possibly have a BBQ so all these Twitter and Forum names can actually meet up. Would anyone be interested in such an arrangement?

I was speaking to a Sandwell councillor today about the car park charges. I was told it is definitely going ahead although there was some opposition to it from within the council. Charges will be forty pence per hour I was told but when I mentioned the yearly ticket the councillor was unsure about it.
They also suggested the charges might be brought in soon after April, when the financial year begins.
