Adobe Flash download problem (1 Viewer)

Vectis Birder

Itchy feet
I'm trying to download the latest Adobe Flash Player as all internet videos, etc, that use it have stopped working. However, the download won't work properly and it says that to download 2.7 MB it will take 12 minutes, and when I start the download it goes right up to 16 minutes+ which is ridiculous even on my crap broadband connection.

There's definitely a problem here, my BT broadband connection's not great but even it isn't so crummy that 2.7 meg should take more than 12 minutes to download.

Or could it be a problem with Adobe (web pages and non-Flash reliant videos are working fine with no loading problems)?

My broadband speed is 1.2 Mbps (download).

Just leave it to run, since the latest upgrade came out it seems the whole world is trying to update flash player even on my broadband connection it took over 30mins but it got there eventually, just leave it to run in the background. If it stalls just pause the download and then start it again

2.7mb would take me 3 sec on my cable broadband:eek!:

Thanks Steve. I'll leave it a day or two and give it another go.

Will@bill - yeah, normally it would take a few seconds on mine, no more.
