Replacement eyecups for older Elites have been unobtainable for some time but if you PM me I can put you in touch with a supplier of new rubber fold down eyecups which fit the threads on the older versions of the Elite models.
10x42 models 61-1042 and 61-4210
8x42 models 61-0842 and 61-2848

I was able to buy rubber eyecups from Germany and fit them to threaded rings that I had made locally.
Unfortunately the German source dried up and I have no eyecups left.

Please post if you discover anything. I have a long-dormant pair of 1980s 7x35 Elites with rotted rubber eyecups that I'd like to resurrect to gift to my grandson. Thanks.
