will house sparrow parents come back? (1 Viewer)

hi sorry to ask a silly question but i am very concerned, there was a nest of house sparrows in the corner of the roof, all the babys have flown away except one and i have not seen the parents come back to feed it but it is still chirping.

When the young leave the nest they scatter, so the others young birds are probably still around. As the fledgling is chirping, it sounds healthy, so maybe you are just missing seeing it being feed by its parents. I would just keep watching for now.

I agree with what Alinde said. Parent birds often feed chicks less or stop feeding them all together to get them to leave the nest looking for food/their parents.
