Panasonic with x70 zoom (1 Viewer)

I know some Panasonic models have been criticised for their image quality on Birdforum, but has anyone had a look at the Panasonic SDR-H90?

It has a x70 optical zoom, 80 gig hard drive, and an SD card slot. It also has a 'pre-record' function that will record the three seconds before the record button was pressed.

I know there is no one perfect camcorder for us birders, but if anyone has experience of the SDR-H90, please let us know what you think.
