Sorry, almost done, but my nagging wife found some more birds that we haven't IDed yet and she can't sleep knowing that ...

1. San Diego - would look like another Song sparrow, but the tail is incredibly long
2. California, some 200 km north of SF (near Clear lake)
3. Nevada - Mt. Wheeler near summit (Great Basin NP). Looks markedly different from numerous Chipping Sparrows in the area.
4. California Central Valley south of Modesto (San Luis refuge) - this we really don't remember what kind of bird it was, but the photo is intruiging

An owl! An owl! We considered it, but it looked like it can be an owl, a curlew, a hawk or something else :) Shame we didn't notice it in field and pursue ...
