CHRIS BECKETT

new birder
Hello,
I Am Just Getting Started Into Birding. I Don't Know A Lot But I Am Excited To Get Started. I Am Just Looking At Binoculars Now And Finally Found A Forum For People To Answer My Numerous
Questions. I Have A Field Guide, But It Is Cheap, I Would Like One With All The Birds In Ontario That Isn't To Expensive, Any Suggestions, Live In Eastern Ontario Very Close To The Lake. Should I Be Buying A Very Expensive Camera Or Just Be Happy With My Binoculars. I Am Thinking Of An Organized Outing For Beginners, Anybody Know Of One In My Area? Or A Contact? I Would Like To Just Go An Explore On My Own With Hopes Of Running Into An Experienced Birder. Which Would Be Anyone With Binoculars Older Than One Day!!

Hi Chris, a warm welcome to you from the BirdForum Moderators & Administration. Good to have you with us :t: ! I'm sure a member from your part of the world will be along shortly with an answer to your field guide question.
