On Thursday this week, I somehow managed to lose a rubber eye cup of my Nikon HGL binoculars. Now you can't really do without these. Spent Thursday night on the Internet trying to find a replacement - no chance.
So late Thursday night I emailed Nikon UK. I didn't care how much a replacement was going to be I just needed to get one.
Friday morning a reply from Nikon informing me I would have to get in touch with their spares department. Friday afternoon I got through to a very helpful lady who checked her stock and said she would post me a pair of eyecups - the cost - well what a surprise, totally free of any charge. What was even better was they arrived next morning.
