Least Bittern (1 Viewer)

I have a pair of Least Bittern nesting back at a small frog pond/wet land on an ajoining property here in Ohio. I've been watching it/them each day. At first I only saw one and it built what appeared to be a platform. Over time I noticed two and now there are eggs in the nest! Very fun to watch. What a quiet secretive and beautiful little bird. There are a couple of Green Heron's back there too.

Just thought I would share. I'm new to this but from what I have read these are a bit uncommon. The first time I saw the least Bittern I was only maybe 10-15 feet from it and I was (not only startled but...) amazed at it's appearance. Although I can get very close (first time by accident) I normally observe from a distance of about 50 yards or so.
