UK Spider (1 Viewer)

I was clearing away an accumalation of bags containing old soil from hanging baskets, tubs etc when I came across this beastie. Any idea what it is please?
A 50p piece is 2.5cm or just over 1 inch across.

It looks like a Tegenaria species, possibly T. agrestis.

Thanks for that. I'll settle for it being a "Hobo".
Biggest spider I have seen in the UK though!

After more googling, I think it is Tegenaria gigantea.
