Errant high mag rumblings. (1 Viewer)

Yes it's within the 14 days so it should be free of charge if there's anything up with it. Should be good either way, don't get to go to many optics shops so it's always nice. Surveys start in a few weeks so would like to get it sorted out before then.....

Good news of sorts. Testing the other sample in the shop today back to back with mine showed a definite difference in performance, the sample I now have is much more in line with expectations!

Symptoms were that one sample had visibly better focus snap, contrast and resolution than the other at 60x so I'm glad I wasn't imagining it.

The shop keeper also had a check for me and reported the same without prompting, although I suppose he did know I wasn't bringing it back for fun.

I'll probably star test in anyway but for now all seems well.

Will
