Anoying Birds in the neighbourhood! (1 Viewer)

Well i have 3 finches 2 Zebra Finches and 1 Other type of Finch

When ever i take them outside from where they sleep inside, these birds
with yellow beacks come and attack them.
There brown and sometimes grey with as i said a yellow beack.
It has allready killed one of my other finches and this forces me to keep my finches in the house which is not very good.

Anyone know how i can stop them from attacking?

Hi zedman,

Welcome to Birdforum.

This forum is dedicated to WILD birds and not caged ones, so if you are wanting any advice about kept birds you probably will not get any replies.

Hi zedman,

On behalf of Admin and the Moderators welcome to Bird Forum :t:

I am afraid though that you are unlikely to get much help with this particular query as Bird Forum is devoted to discussion of wild birds and not pets.

However I take it that the problem is with the wild birds attacking the ones in your cages? It does seem to be the norm that native species will attack exotic birds such as escapee pets. Maybe to raptors such birds are an easy target.

About the only thing I can suggest would be to build something like a large aviary outdoors to keep the wild ones from getting at them.
