Philippine songster ID (1 Viewer)

This is a long shot but years ago I watched a documentary on the Philippine eagle and the recorded forest chorus was dominated by a bird with an immensely powerful continuous song which European birders might have likened to a garden warbler on steroids. On and off over the years, I've wondered what it was and I would be interested in any suggestions. I'm not sure if straw-headed bulbul was recorded from the Philippines in the past but in any case I don't think it was this species which I've heard in Sabah but the power of the song was similar.

Many thanks
