Swaro UCA - very hard to remove the camera (1 Viewer)

I have a question for all those working with Swaro UCA Adapter.

More and more it is difficult to pull the camera (S90) off. I unlock it, but I have to press or pull very hard, an very often it occurs that the sliding carriage loose his position, alltough it was tightened.
I asked the Swarovski general agency, they told me that it could be dirt or false handling. I have to remove the camera, while the UCA is sitting on the scope, than i have to hands free, was the advice. I tested it out, but in outdoor situation, a little cold fingers, no easier then with the whole adapter in my hand.
What do you think? How is our experience?

I've noticed the same thing. It could be " wear and tear". But I was also wondering if it's temperature related. Maybe try a little Talcum powder ( very little).

Thx for your reply, its interesting. I will try the idea with talcum.
In my case I did not noticed that its temperature related. It is allways difficult.
"Wear and tear" yes, looks like, but started very early.

Just another thought...... Have you checked that the two small ball bearing catches on the underside of the camera mounting plate are free to compress. If these have seized up then it might be making the camera difficult to remove.
