Marin headlands. Hawk hill, golden gate Nat’l rec area.

10/9/04, conditions clear.

1 broad winged hawk
4 merlins
2 peregrine falcons
43 sharp shinned hawks
47 coopers, and red-tailed hawks.
4 white tailed kites
14 northern harriers
36 red shouldered hawks
3 ospreys
142 red tailed hawks
14 American kestrel.


Also white crowned sparrows, gold crowned sparrows, wren tit, buicks wren, white throated swifts, ravens, pigmy nuthatches, double crested cormorants, pelicans.
 
Nice list. I'll be over in San Francisco in about a month's time and I'm hoping I'll be able to catch the tail end of raptor migration.
