Question! :) (1 Viewer)

Hello. I have a question about insects as food. I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but it is kind of related to birds too. Ok. Animals that eat meat are classed as carnivores and animals that don't are herbivores. If an animal/bird eats insects or invertebrates, but not real meat, what is it classed as?
Thank you,
Beth
