A great day on the Salisbury Plain Training Area. In the order they were seen:
skylark
carrion crow
meadow pipit
corn bunting
common buzzard
stock dove
common quail (heard not seen)
barn swallow
northern lapwing
European stonechat
pied wagtail
common kestrel
Eurasian magpie
yellowhammer
blue tit
montagu's harrier (ringtail)
western jackdaw
common linnet
great bustard (part of the release programme)
grey partridge
red-legged partridge
common whitethroat
red kite

Great list, as usual the irritating Quail is elusive, not sure I am ever going to see one.

Where were the Grey Partridges - need that for the year (and I have spent ages driving around there)! Good with the Monty's, I've only seen the male
