What kind of birder are you? (1 Viewer)

Like anyone I get that buzz from a lifer, but mostly I'm guided by desire to try to take (or at least attempt to) world-class photos. So a good day is not about large numbers of species or year-lists or such, but time spent with the right subject in the right situation.

However, at the risk of pitchforks, I wouldn't describe myself as a bird watcher but a wildlife watcher. For reasons of practicality and opportunity I do watch a lot of birds, but non-avian wildlife holds probably a bigger place in my heart.
