Best Digital Camera for Diascope 85 Straight (1 Viewer)

Just purchased the Zeiss Scope Diascope 85 Straight Silver. Love it.
Disappointed my Panasonic Digital FZ3 does not appear to work well with this scope. A great camera with 12X zoom but isn't able to see through lens very effectively.

Can you suggest other good digital cameras and model numbers that would work well with this scope.

I purchased the ZEISS Diascope System Quick Camera Adapter which I like the concept.

I want to buy a camera that best matches up with this great Zeiss scope.
