Taken in the last 7 days - could it be a Sanderling? The smaller one.

A Sanderling would be about the same size as the Curlew Sandpipers on the same images (and a suggestion of a hind toe is visible on image 3). This is one of the smaller ones, a Little Stint IMO.
 
I did not think Little Stint because the neck and head looked too red - I did not think it would be Red-necked Stint because it would be rarer over there and appears to have a supercilium.
