Dark Chanting Goshawk? - Zimbabwe (1 Viewer)

This bird came to my garden and it is much taller, lighter grey and sleeker looking than the Gabar Goshawk we get here.

Is this a Dark Chanting Goshawk? I hope so.

I am not a good enough birder to tell. How do you tell?

D.

It's a while since I last saw these two species (nearly 8 years) but for me this is Gabar goshawk. The tarsi look thin and there are noticeable dark bands on the tail which I believe would exclude DCG.
