Help to confirm a Sicalis - Lachay - Peru (1 Viewer)

BirdsPeru

Alejandro Tabini
I just picture this bird on Lachay National Reserve, 105Km north of Lima.

I am thinking of Sicalis raimondii but it is missing some grey I am used to see on this species. Also I am used to see the Sicalis raimondii on the rocky area of the reserve and this bird was on the main trails of the reserve.

What makes me think of this Sicalis species is the grey patch on the ear coverts, grey flanks.

Could anyone confirm or correct the ID.

regards,

Alejandro
