What's the differences between the 3?

Glossy and White-faced are both dark coloured birds, looking rather blackish or dark brown at a distance but up close they are a mixture of reds and greens. Those two species are very obviously different to White Ibis but are rather similar to one another and often difficult to separate except with good views.

The white ibis is the only ibis in North America that is all white. Juveniles will have brown on their backs and brown streaking on head and neck. Glossy ibis and white faced ibises are pretty similar, both are all brown. However, only the glossy ibis would occur in South Carolina though.
