Had a quick afternoon visit to reserve, good views from tea-room nearly stayed here but went on circular walk.Whilst having a brew saw 3-little-egret,3-snipe, some teal.Got to estuary plenty of benches along path ideal for sitting and scanning area with scope. All the usual waders here, redshank, curlew, oystercatchter, lapwing, also ringed plover, 6-black-tail-godwit,and a bar-tail-godwit, which is a tick for me.
The reserve is in a very scenic area, with friendly staff good facilities and good close-up views of birds well worth a visit:t:
