Oman, India, Thailand plus! Feb - April 2017 (1 Viewer)

Hi, I am looking to do the following trips as part of an Asia bird travel and am looking for companions for some of this. Nothing concrete but general idea:

Start of Feb. South Oman approx. 5 days >> Sri Lanka approx. 2 weeks
>> Thailand approx. 3 weeks
>> Inonesia approx 3 weeks
>> India approx 3 weeks
End of April, North Oman approx. 3 days

I have a lot of birding experience internationally but Asia is new, so I don't need to invest too much time in challenging epidemic searches ;). I am fit and easy-going, more of a budget traveller but Airbnb normally works + some camping....

Anyone interested?
Cheers,
Matt

I'm going to be in Sri Lanka in April if you can do that later than you're currently planning.

I too am not interested in looking for epidemics.

I am considering a few days in Southern Thailand around 30th Jan to 5th Feb. I know a great guide and would be happy to find someone to help share the cost.......

Hi Colin - who is the guide that you reference in this post? Heading to S Thailand at the end of this year

Shintana (windowofthailand.com), Ike (thephuketbirder.wordpress.com), also Nick Upton (thaibirding.com, a lot of information there) used to offer guiding services, and another poster on this forum recommends Shintana more recently so should still be available.
I never booked a tour with any of them, but I have met Chintana and Ike years ago, both were very nice and helpful, that's all I can say about them!
