Hi

I am trying to find larval images of the pyralid moth Vitula edmandsii. I have searched various websites on the web without luck.
Any help would be much appreciated

Tom

Just done some more checking and the larva was described and its setal pattern illustrated by Klimesch in Amsel 1955: 489, text-figs. 3-7.
The full reference is Amsel, H.G. 1955. Eine neue deutsche, Hummelnester bewohnende Moodna-Art (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae). Mitt. münch. ent. Ges. 44/45: 486-491, pl. 8.
You could try asking the NHM Entomology library for a scan (or let me know direct if there's a problem). I'd offer but I'm just about to go away for a little over a week. If you can wait, I'll do it for you.
