Cuckoos in Central VietNam (1 Viewer)

I think these may both be immature birds - photos taken today in Hue (sea-level) Central Vietnam - but I'm not very confident about the ID.
The first has a lot of white in the wing and looks like an Indian Cuckoo to me. The second was much smaller - about the same size as the Ashy Minivets it was with - is it just a Plaintive Cuckoo? I always though they were bigger than Minivets but perhaps not?
