Help with PSD files (1 Viewer)

Moorlands Macro: Close up and personal....with bug
Hi all, I have just bought a copy of Elements4. I take a jpeg file around 800x600 and put a frame around it in Elements4, by doing this it automatically saves it as a PSD which is a massive file. I know I have introduced a couple of more layers by adding a frame, but the size of the file from the original is massive. What is the best way of converting back to jpeg with the frame intact so I can show the pictures in the gallery on here. I know it can be done as I have seen a lot of members pictures with frames in the gallery on here.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Neil.

And then you can Save As a jpg, in whatever quality you want, of course. Finally, if you want it even smaller for uploading/web try the Save For Web option.

alternatively when you've finished editing just save as "jpeg" and photoshop will flatten the image.
