Hello All,

I recently discovered this "Cricket"? in my garden and although I have several books on insects cannot see anything like it in them.

Could this be a baby Speckled Bush Cricket?...I say this because when first seen it measured approximately an eighth of an inch in body length and was overall only just over half an inch from antennae to tail. When I saw it a few days later it had grown and was nearer to an inch in length.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,Phil.

Nice photos, attractive looking thing, I only get bright green ones in my bathroom overnight!
Dave

Thanks Dave,

I have had a few of the bright green ones in the house at times over the years too...mainly Oak Bush Crickets, which often come to lights at night apparently.

Phil.
