The alleged sightings of 3 Tree Sparrows appears to have come from the RSPB Sandwell sightings today!. (Also reported some time earlier this year on their `sightings` and believed to be erroneous) Could further enquiries be made there?

I believe all the Tree Sparrow records refair to female House Sparrows in a Tree
