Losing My Thread! (1 Viewer)

A method I use a lot is to get a big lump of Blu-Tac. Press that onto the step ring, covering as much of it as you can and give it a good twist. As well as using that method for step rings I use it for stripping down old slr lenses that need cleaning etc. Blu-Tac is handy stuff for undoing threads.

SRB Griturn do a small and simple filter wrench set for around £3.95. Think the smallest size it goes to is 49mm though, and I've never used one myself.
