yes, that's why I decided to separate the two for a while, and work on the landscape alone. I've found some great books written by old painters, John Carlsons "Guide to Landscape Painting" was the very best and very cheap, it saved me years of time getting to a basic way to see the landscape in front of me, so I could being to paint it.

the online translator has a funny way of arranging the words Gaby, but your meaning always comes through just fine, so no worry there.

The vultures is a very well composed piece, it needs no more background than there is already. Lovely work Gaby.

It was indeed a good idea Gaby. This one is very successful and the birds look quite believable.

Love the vultures - great design and such a lot of tenderness in the way they have been paired.

Hi, Gaby, nice to find you here!
The drawing with the vutures is very good. I see: you have too much time I´ve got many ideas for paintings, but first I´ve to do all the remittance works. OK, elephants, lions and rhinos are nice to draw, also parrots an cockatoos, but I want to finish the pictures with the hereon an with the starlings.
Also I´ve an idea to paint >my< house martins, they are so lovely and funny little birds. They haven´t learnt to catch flies, so they can it excercise all the winter long in our house. If you want, you can make some fotos and draw them too!
Angie
