Moulting thrush / blackbird ? (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help identify this bird, which arrived on my fence this morning. It's about the size of a blackbird, possibly a little bigger. I wondered about a moulting juvenile thrush / mistle thrush. My wife's guess is female blackbird in moult. But it doesn't really look convincing for either bird when I look at my Collins guide! Any suggestions ?

I'm having a 'mare day - I looked at the avatar and was about to say "It's a rabbit". Duh! Yeah, your wife is right. As was mine when we were going round a roundabout usually populated with Woodpigeons. She said 'What's that?' and I responded 'It's a pigeon' - she insisted it wasn't and when I looked, it wasn't, it was a Wheatear!

I was going to post a spoof ID question - 'Please help with this ID: large, glossy, black. Much bigger than a blackbird. Two large projections from head, low, bounding flight. Appears to be a ground feeder. Likes all types of seeds, nuts, and feeds off spillage from feeders!'
