Allen's or Rufous - San Angelo Tx (1 Viewer)

It's winding down....last couple weeks the hummers have been showing up in spurts.

The Black-chinned are long gone, only seeing Ruby-throated until today when this gal showed up.

I'm thinking Allen's due to the orange eyebrow and white breast. Could be wishful thinking..!!..??

Appreciate the help.

Rufous are fairly common migrants and winter residents in Texas now, while Allen's are still very rare. This looks like a young female, which are essentially identical, and tricky to tell apart even in the hand.
