    Coming across this fellow in the garden gave me an opportunity to practice my macro technique. I haven't had much success with flash before but I was pretty pleased with this one.

    I was chasing a Wall Brown but this fellow would'nt take no for an answer. He jumped as high as his legs would take him and chirped as loud as he could until I finally gave in. This is Gordon, say hello!!

    When the warm Spring weather arrives and my roses & hibiscus are blooming I will occassionally find this grasshopery looking creature on my flowers. Not plentiful and not very destructive. I leave them alone. This critter is fairly small. Florida does and have some huge hoppers.
